Terms of Service

Last updated June 12, 2026

1. The service

CommissionIQ (“the Service”) is a commission-tracking application that connects to your HubSpot portal and, optionally, your QuickBooks Online account to calculate, approve, and export sales commissions. The Service is operated by CommissionIQ (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the organization you represent.

2. Accounts and access

You sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your organization, for the people you grant access to, and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Rep users see only their own commission data; administrators control organization-wide settings.

3. Trials, billing, and cancellation

  • New organizations receive a 14-day free trial. A valid payment method is required to start the trial; nothing is charged until the trial ends.
  • Pricing is $30/month including 5 active-rep seats, plus $5/month per additional active rep. Seat counts adjust automatically with proration as reps are activated or deactivated.
  • You can cancel anytime from Settings → Billing. Cancelling during the trial means you are never charged. After the trial, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • If payment fails or a subscription lapses, the account becomes read-only. Your data is retained and access is restored when billing resumes.

4. Your data

You retain all rights to your data — deals, commission records, team information, and exports. We access your HubSpot and QuickBooks data only to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You may disconnect either integration at any time, and you may request deletion of your account and data by contacting support.

5. Commission calculations

CommissionIQ calculates commissions from the structures, rates, and mappings that your administrators configure and from the data in your connected systems. You are responsible for reviewing and approving calculations before paying anyone. The Service is a tool that supports your compensation process; it does not constitute payroll, tax, accounting, or legal advice.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service — including attempting to access other organizations' data, reverse-engineering the Service, reselling it without authorization, or using it in violation of applicable law.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available and performant but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may improve or modify features over time. If we ever discontinue the Service, we will provide reasonable notice and a way to export your data.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including compensation decisions made using the Service.
